| Remember all those early reviews of Patton where they said the image was phenomenal...breathtaking...glorious? Not to mention the hordes of consumers who echoed those
sentiments...and many who still do, long after the professional reviewers have wiped the egg from their faces and recanted. Well, if they'd been describing the newly remastered presentation, I would
have ecstatically agreed with them. And with this direct comparison now available, I'd love to see some justifications from the people who proclaimed the initial release as a thing of beauty, who claimed that people were "imagining" the DNR and said that there was no way Patton could ever look better. Because here it is, finally done right, and there's just no comparison. |

| This doesn't just look like the same master as the previous Blu-ray just without DNR. Looks like a new scan/master as well as some changes in contrast and color. |

| Wow a huge massive difference. The DNR really was horrible. Scrubbed away all the fine detail and the colours look washed out. The Remastered Edition is excellent. |
